Overview
The Model YD-510S Environmental X-γ Radiation Dose Rate Meter employs a plastic scintillation detector, offering fast response, high sensitivity and a wide measurement range, enabling accurate measurement of gamma and X-ray radiation. It features a high-speed microprocessor and a 3.5-inch colour touchscreen LCD display for enhanced ease of operation. The instrument is widely used for monitoring and survey in various X-γ radiation environments, including medical institutions, disease control and prevention (CDC) agencies, environmental protection, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, radiological laboratories, industrial radiography, radiation processing, and mining. It complies with the verification requirements of 《JJG 521-2024 – X,γ air kerma rate meters for environmental monitoring 》and 《JJG 393-2018 – Portable X, gamma ambient dose equivalent (rate) meters and monitors》. Adopting a single-detector configuration, the instrument combines both high sensitivity and a wide dynamic range.
