Radiation Portal Monitoring System YD-CRM007

The Pedestrian Walk-through Portal Radiation Monitor is a high-sensitivity gamma and X-ray screening system for rapid, non-intrusive detection of radioactive material on pedestrians. It detects better than 0.1 μCi of Co-60 within 2 seconds, with a detection probability of 99.9% and false alarm rate below 0.1%. Ideal for customs, airports and security checkpoints.

Product Description

The Radiation Portal Monitoring System YD-CRM007utilises high-sensitivity scintillation detectors, offering high sensitivity and a wide dynamic range for the accurate measurement of gamma and X-ray radiation. The system is designed to perform rapid, effective and non-intrusive radiological screening of pedestrians in transit, triggering coordinated alarms and outputting alarm information upon detection. Furthermore, the system is capable of networking with higher-level management systems, thereby establishing a remote, real-time radiation monitoring information system platform.

Features

  • High-Sensitivity Scintillation Detectors – Employing high-sensitivity scintillation detectors with superior detection efficiency;
  • Field-Deployable Design for Nuclear Emergency Response – The instrument is purpose-built for on-site monitoring during nuclear emergencies, featuring a rapid assembly/disassembly design, lightweight construction, and ease of storage, transport and field deployment, with an ingress protection rating of IP67;
  • Automatic Facial Recognition – Upon initial registration of personnel data (facial biometrics, identity information, etc.), the instrument automatically identifies the person upon subsequent entry into the detection zone and initiates measurement without further operator intervention. Measurement data are automatically associated with the identified individual and synchronised to the monitoring platform;
  • Dynamic Alarm Thresholds – Supports dynamic (variable) alarm threshold functionality;
  • Artificial Nuclide Identification – Supports artificial radionuclide discrimination technology;
  • Real-Time Data Communication via GPRS Cellular Network – Utilises the latest GPRS cellular network for real-time monitoring data transmission;
  • Remote Bidirectional Data Transmission – Supports bidirectional remote data transfer, enabling remote transmission of monitoring data.

Application

The instrument is applicable to a wide range of settings, including but not limited to radiotherapy, occupational health, environmental protection, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, radiological laboratories, nuclear medicine and radioisotope applications, customs, airports and various security screening facilities.
