
Overview
The integrated γ‑ray spectrometer comprises a socket‑type multichannel analyzer (MCA), a 2‑inch NaI probe, and dedicated spectrum acquisition and nuclide analysis software. It is a versatile, multi‑purpose γ‑ray spectrometer.
The socket‑type pulse height analyzer incorporates a 14‑pin photomultiplier tube (PMT) base, a built‑in 4096‑channel MCA, and the associated preamplifier and high‑voltage power supply. It can operate in either single‑channel discrimination/counter mode or multichannel pulse height analysis mode.
The unit is powered by a low‑voltage DC supply and features an Ethernet port for both control and data output. It supports the output of raw ADC data in list mode as well as direct energy spectrum output.
When used with an appropriate detector, connected to a computer, and operated through the companion spectrum acquisition and analysis software, the system can acquire and display energy spectra, perform automatic peak search, and—following energy calibration—identify both artificial and naturally occurring isotopes. Custom development is available upon request.

The spectrum software provides the following core functions: system parameter configuration, spectrum acquisition, spectrum display, ROI calculation, energy resolution calculation (via Gaussian fitting), and spectrum smoothing, among others.
